Description
Teb keyhan P.G.A is a synthetic absorbable suture, with a high level performance It is multifilament and made up of a polymer of Glycolic Acid. P.G.A is a coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate for smooth passage through tissue and easy knot tie down. P.G.A is degraded by hydrolysis and the absorption time is 60 to 90 days. This suture is sterilized by Ethylene Oxide and is available in violet color. Available sizes are presented in the attached table.
Indication
-General soft tissue approximation and/or ligation
-General surgery
-Skin Closure
-Gastrointestinal surgery
-Gynecology
-Obstetrics
-Plastic surgery
-Urology
-Ophthalmic surgery
-Orthopedics
Contra- Indication
-Cardiovascular surgery
-Neurosurgery
-Being absorbable not to use in extended tissue approximation
-In patients sensible to collagen
- In the region of infected wounds
